To achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and meet the Paris Agreement targets in Austria, the country must take a multi-faceted approach involving government, businesses, and individuals.

Austria must reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 compared to 1990 levels, aligning with the EU’s climate goals and, for example, phase out fossil fuels, including the gradual elimination of oil and gas heating systems in homes. So, here is what we did:

The house you are sleeping in has been renovated sustainably. This means we changed it from an oil-heating system to pellet heating, which means relying on renewable biomass (wood pellets) instead of fossil fuels, making it a cleaner and more sustainable energy source.
