This interpretation reflects the idea that architecture is a universal human need. Inspired by Gertrude Stein’s „A rose is a rose is a rose,“ with this repetition we suggest that a building is simply a building unless it is given meaning or purpose beyond its physical structure, like we are trying to do with this house. Our house talks to you, listens, keeps in touch, challenging us, as well as you as our guests, to think about what makes a building meaningful and future-proof.
Buildings, such as ours, contribute to encouraging innovative, sustainable architecture, as well as climate action – reducing carbon footprints in construction and operation.
